I am Roman Schmidt, Visual Effects TD specialized to create complex and challenging VFX Shots in every aspect of movie-making.

I worked as a cameraassistent between 1997-99, then went on as a digital artist in the games and realtime applications field. In the following years i studied animation at the academy for film and television HFF in Potsdam-Babelsberg and made my degree in 2006. Since more than seven years i've worked on visual effects as a CG Supervisor and Technical Director for feature productions like The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, 2012, The Last Airbender or Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

My key skills are solving problems in time, organizing tasks effectively and team-oriented, incessantly improving tools and techniques as well as of course dedication to high quality and professionalism.
